The Annual Easter Quiz and St George’s Overview

Wednesday the 5th of April saw regulars and newcomers join us for our special annual Easter and St George’s Day bumper quiz!

There was a great turn out and we appreciate everyone who turned up and made it such a special evening.

Similar to last month’s quiz. This most recent addition was split into 2 parts; with the first section dedicated to Easter trivial questions and the latter dedicated to St George’s Day Questions.

There was also a music round which included various questions in regards to songs related to these national holidays.

Our overall quiz winners for this months quiz were: ‘We hate our wives we hate our lives’ An interesting name to say the least!

Moving on to our monthly meat raffle which gets held at the end of the evening. Customers can purchase a monthly meat raffle ticket for just £3! An absolute bargain considering the 2 prizes to offer.

The first prize was a £50 premium cut of local butcher meat.

The second prize was a £25 smaller sized premium cut of local butcher meat.

Next quiz will be taking place On Monday 8th of May (Bank Holiday Monday)

The topic in question will be about King Charles’ coronation with trivial questions about the King and the Monarchy.
